It is an animal, plant, bacteria, or even fungi that holds an ecosystem together. They are like a glue that keeps a habitat together. If they go away, the ecosystem can change for the worse or completely disappear.
And you may be now asking
"What is an ecosystem?"
It is a community made up of all the living and nonliving things in an area.

Hilda started wondering. If things kept going the way they were, would she feel at home in beautiful places with mountains like Stanley, Idaho??? It was so very pretty and she was sure she could fit in just fine, but it just didn't seem right in her mind. She knew making things better with climate change was so super important!

We all know someone like Chester - yammers all the time and completely excited about whatever they are talking about. "OH...MY...STARS! YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!!!"
However, the topic of conversation today among the Brew & Chat Coffee Club today was quite important. They were trying to figure out what all they could do to help clean up trash on the beach. They knew doing things like this helped in mighty big ways.

Nature does its best to adapt. It always does.
Henry was the same way. Throw him in an unfamiliar situation and he was determined to adjust and adapt. Even with a fancy cat and a weird sign that he thought were like some new kind of artsy-fartsy thing. He never was sure about stuff when it came to art.
Henry and nature are two peas in a pod, doing their best and trying to adapt. But like all of us, they both have limits. They both need respect and care.

Happy, happy, happy! That is what Frank was feeling! Everyone was picking up their litter, their trash, their wrappers and cans and bottles! He couldn't believe it. Their campaign worked! They got the word out and now the hikers and campers and social media picture-takers were not leaving trash everywhere. Yahoo!
